The International Trade Fair for Analysis, Biotechnology, Diagnostics and Laboratory Technology with AnalyticaChina Conference organized by Messe München International (MMI) once every two years will be held at Shanghai New Inter. Exhibition Center (SNIEC) from Sep 19th to 21st 2006, which is the third time it enters shanghai.
On August 14, the organizer side Messe München International (MMI) held the press conference in Hilton Shanghai to give a general introduction about the exhibition to the medias. Some exhibitors' high-level representatives and as many as 35 medias attended the conference.
Firstly, Mr. Simon Zhang, the managing director of Munich Trade Fairs (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (MTFS) made the detailed introduction about the arrangement, content, scheme detail of AnalyticaChina 2006. He pointed out: Along with the rapid development of the economy, many evidences proved that we face more and more serious challenges. Such as the environment problem brought in recent years, the medical care/medicine production which grows at the stupendous speed, the double-quick development of the industry after the time when China become one of the powerful nations for economy. All the current social actuality indicate that the modern society's survival and the development can not be apart from the new equipments and the new technologies in analysis biochemistry domain. Simultaneously indicated that it is the market demand achieves the rapid development of AnalyticaChina. At present, the unprecedented public security crisis is erupting all around the world. Such as, Sudan Red, Cefuroxime、RoHS、birds flu、pesticide residue and so on. Also the nature and the man-made biological weapons are threatening the human security. From the other side, our human beings also need to learn, to bring to bear, to equip us with the biological technology for the lasting peace of our own homeland. All the resolutions of those problems will be presented in AnalyticaChina 2006.
The following part of the conference mainly contains product introduction of four large companies. The four representatives respectively give us the detail information about their companies and products. It includes Mr. Zhu from PerkinElmer (Shanghai) Corporation、 Mr. Chen from Techcomp Corporation、Ms. Lu from Thermo（Shanghai）Corporation、 Mr. Chen from Waters Corporation.
PerkinElmer Corporation: This is the third time it participates in AnalyticaChina. The main products they sold in China can be divided into four big product lines including atomic spectrum、 color spectrum、molecular spectrum、 thermo analysis. The product application contains medicine R&D、clinical detection、environment detection、food security and so on. The company's theme is "make the world be more healthier, cleaner and safer ".
Waters Corporation: It specially engages in R&D, production and application of analytical apparatus. Last forty years, those products help the researcher finding the answer more accurately and quickly.
